For years now, my friend Twan–has been telling me to venture into doing an IG Live show or a YouTube channel with this blog. The first and only video I’ve done was due to a push from her. I thought of YouTube and came close to doing an IG Live show this summer, but there is way too much going on in my house with my boys.
More than 10 years ago, my mentor Doug recommended I start a podcast. I thought the process would be a bit daunting and would require more tech knowledge than I had at the time.
In January, my girl Frankly Frankhi asked me to guest on her podcast More Bad Handwriting. I really enjoyed it.
Guesting on More Bad Handwriting and talking to Frankhi about our mutual love for radio reminded me of how much I missed it and missed interviewing people. And, since a podcast only requires sound, I won’t have to worry about my kids walking into the frame.
Getting to this point has been a journey, but I decided to just start! Shout out to my siblings, Twan, and Frankhi for your support and feedback as I was putting these clips together!
