Tamar Braxton’s latest video has premiered. “Let Me Know” is the kind of song I can have on replay all day–although I’m slightly distracted by the Future feature. It’s a little jarring to my ears ’cause it doesn’t seem to blend with the song. Sounds a little cut and paste. His feature sounds better toward the end when it’s underneath her vocals.
I really like the styling of the video. It would be a complete home run if it were not for the setup with her and the black wig. It’s kind of like Future’s vocals on the song–it doesn’t quite fit with the rest of the video. I was also distracted by the jewels falling in the water setup. It would have been ok if they had that part in slow motion. It would have been better if it was just the bubbles and Tamar. I kept wanting them to zoom in to her face, but I think the water “trick” was very important to it’s creator, and so it was the focus.
Here’s the video.
