I’ve fallen back in love with lipstick recently. For a while, I had MAC Fluid on heavy rotation. It’s a pretty, frosty lavender. It’s very subtle on my dark skin and works perfectly with anything I wear.
I wanted something with more pop, and found it in MAC Violeta. It’s a bright fuschia that fit me perfectly! It’s pretty much the satin version of MAC Heroine. Violeta may be one shade darker.
In December, I started craving a vamp purple color. I wanted something dark yet bold. I didn’t find the exact shade that I was looking for at MAC, but the Vyper lipstick with MAC Rebel lipglass was perfect! I swear that combo makes me feel like bow down bitches!
Last week I went on a binge and ordered a four different MAC and one Fashion Fair lipsticks from Macy’s. While in Times Square this week I picked up two more from Sephora. Add that to all the others I already had, and I’ve got enough lipsticks to need a new makeup case. I’m so inspired to blog about all these colors that I’m going to start a new “Lipstick Junkie” feature.
